Open Bronze & Silver Expedition Training

Chase Training Solutions, a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Approved Activity Provider, is facilitating Bronze & Silver level expedition training during the 2012 season.

This expedition training, undertaken in the Worcestershire countryside, is open to ALL Duke of Edinburgh's Award Bronze or Silver level participants from any DofE Group and organisation.

Course Dates
Wednesday 4 - Friday 6 April (Easter Holiday's)
Thursday 7 - Saturday 9 June (Half-term)
Wednesday 8 - Friday 10 August (Summer Holiday's)

The area of Worcestershire is the venue, and the training is offered by CTS in partnership with Blackwell Adventure. It is run by a team of qualified and experienced instructors, all of whom have sound knowledge of the DofE.

It includes the opportunity for participants to undertake the Expedition Training Framework at either Bronze or Silver levels.

Training is a combination of classroom and outdoor based, whilst sleeping is in ‘static tents’. If required, at a small additional cost, we are able to hire personal and group expedition equipment. Please contact CTS for further details.

The base is at ‘Pikes Pool Centre’ (Google Maps), part of 'Blackwell Adventure', a unique, fully equipped outdoor activity centre.

Bronze	Silver

Blackwell Adventure is a unique, fully equipped outdoor activity centre available to a wide range of customers. It boasts 50 acres of beautiful parkland and is superbly located within five minutes of the M42 and M5. The residential, camping and adventure facilities are amongst the best in the midlands and are used by over 25,000 people per year.

The cost per participant is £50.

Your payment covers all aspects of the training programme, handouts, accommodation and meals.
