Open Bronze Expeditions - Worcestershire Countryside

Chase Training Solutions, a Duke of Edinburgh's Award Approved Activity Provider, are organising and facilitating three Open Bronze Foot Expeditions for the 2012 season.

Tuesday 3 - Friday 6 April
Wednesday 6 - Saturday 9 June
Tuesday 7 - Friday 10 August

This expedition, undertaken in the Worcestershire countryside, is open to ALL Duke of Edinburgh's Award Bronze level participants from any DofE Group and organisation.

The expedition is offered as a qualifying expedition or a full-scale practice journey.

It also offers participants who are unable to form a team within their DofE Centre, the opportunity to complete the Expedition section.

The expedition is offered by CTS and run by a team of experienced supervisors, and assessors, all of whom have sound knowledge of the DofE.
 

  
 

 
 Base camp is at ‘Pikes Pool Centre’ (Google Maps), part of 'Blackwell Adventure', a unique, fully equipped outdoor activity centre.

Planning will take place indoors, whilst sleeping is in static tents, allowing participants to keep their own lightweight tents ready for the expedition.

If required, at a small additional cost, we are able to hire personal and group expedition equipment. Contact CTS for further details.
 

  

 
The cost per participant is £85.

Your payment covers the cost of administration, assessment and safety supervision, accommodation, campsite fees, meals from Tuesday or Wednesday lunch until the start of the expedition, evening meal, breakfast and lunch following the expedition.

As a team, you must bring your own food with you for the duration of the expedition.
